COVID-19 closed the doors to Wicked Stitches indefinitely, along with so many other small businesses. We knew that closing our store was necessary to help stop the spread, but we wanted to do more. We made a commitment that while our business was closed, we would help our community in any way we could.
When a nurse in the family told us she was running low on hospital-issued surgical caps, we knew we had found our calling. We sewed her one, and that led to requests for hundreds more! We could not believe the difference one simple surgical cap could make.
While we all do our part by staying home, essential workers are out on the front lines, putting themselves at risk to save the lives of others. Every cap we sew is a token of our love and appreciation for these fearless and dedicated heroes.
Here’s how you can help…
Purchase a cap for a healthcare or essential worker.
Hang a RAINBOW on your door to show support for the essential workers.
The proceeds from these products goes towards producing caps to donate to our essential workers. By purchasing a cap or a banner, you support a hero on the front lines, and a small business trying to do their part.
Together, we can make a difference!
